Job Summary Manage transfer-specific activities and coordinate the transfer of product equipment and maintenance procedures, which involve technical document writing, review, correction, coordinating and providing training plans for technicians, and performing first article inspections.

Essential Job Functions

Report to the engineering manager and carry out product transfer projects with moderate supervision.

Manage and support product transfers, validating that all required test equipment, knowledge, documentation, tools, and engineering requirements are properly transferred.

Work on collaborative project teams in conjunction with project engineers and project managers.

Manage own time on projects and departmental goals, milestones, and budgets.

Perform system engineering, analysis, system integration, and verification.

Review and analyze technical documentation on maintenance processes.

Monitor testing and analyze data to verify performance of the product against customer and design specifications.

Evaluate engineering drawings and schematics.

Test and troubleshoot hydro‑electro‑mechanical sub‑assemblies.

Other duties may be assigned.

Job Knowledge Ability to read and interpret circuit schematics; knowledge of Geometric, Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and engineering drawing standards; knowledge in design of wiring, cabling, shielding, noise management, and electrical packaging; working knowledge of computer hardware, interfacing, and communication protocols; working knowledge of various sources of electrical power (batteries, DC power, power budgeting, 3‑phase AC); electronics test equipment and tools (oscilloscope, multi‑meter, etc.); familiarity with civil avionics digital interfaces.

Required Competencies

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

3‑5 years of experience with project and program transfer.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Good documentation and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.

Basic experience with Enovia or other Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools a plus.

Basic experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP tools a plus (trainable if absent).

Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position and occasionally move about the office and laboratory, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, and lift up to 10 pounds. The role requires clear communication, observation at close range, and occasional use of hearing protection in laboratory environments.

Work Environment The work environment is split between office and laboratory work, with most activities performed in the office. Noise levels are typically quiet in the office but may occasionally require hearing protection in the lab.
