Senior Customer Manager – Packaging & Specialty Plastics

Preferred alignment:

Houston, TX or Midland, MI . Virtual office alignment in the United States or Canada may also be considered for candidates near a major airport for travel purposes. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for managing existing sales and developing new sales for Dow's 100% PCR solution (Circa products), with a key focus on new business development in this space. The employee will also manage sales of virgin resin to a few medium‑to‑large customers and perform tactical tasks supporting account management, such as generating leads, outlining sales territories, managing sales analytics, resolving technical problems for customers, and providing phone support, among others. Scope is regional (NAA) and may include certain global coordination responsibilities, mainly if the employee is located in a headquarters that may require alignment with all regions within a geography. Responsibilities / Duties

Manages account portfolio and prepares and implements sales plans. Collaborates with the marketing team to help build marketing plans and collects and utilizes market intelligence to shape the sales/marketing plan, market research and mapping. Develops pipeline of opportunities with new and existing customers and converts them into new sales. Leads and conducts negotiations, implements price changes, and develops long‑term contract agreements. Leads and coordinates customer relationships, working to understand customer needs and identify potential new clients. Manages sales contracts following Dow guidelines and legal requirements according to each region and country. Executes and implements sales and marketing plans and delivers business goals of volume and value. Required Qualifications

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant. 7+ years of experience in technical/sales/commercial related positions. Fluent in English. The ability to work legally in the country for which you are applying. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position (U.S. or Canada). Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with polyethylene Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) sales. Strong sales excellence experience and prior sales experience. Skills

Customer Relationship Building: Methods to engage with customers and improve the customer experience, providing short‑term solutions and proactive long‑term ones.
