Position Overview The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving the growth of FFB Bank’s merchant services by acquiring new business and supporting existing clients. The role combines proactive territory development with close collaboration across bank departments to generate qualified referrals. As a subject‑matter expert, you provide consultative guidance, ongoing support, and high‑level customer satisfaction, driving a high‑impact, growth‑oriented role.
Essential Duties
Generate new leads through outbound calls, emails, networking, and in‑person meetings
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to drive long‑term business
Utilize CRM tools (e.g., IRIS CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage pipeline and client interactions
Prepare proposals and perform sales presentations and product training at client locations
Maintain client implementation documents and files
Follow up Merchant Services referrals from bank employees
Provide telephone support and act as primary customer service contact for Merchant Services customers
Monitor portfolio reports for low activity and inventory records
Act as liaison to branch staff with qualifying prospects and join them in sales activities (call blocks, outbound visits, Bank huddles)
Perform pricing reviews of regional competitors and maintain prospect database and monthly sales reports
Identify revenue opportunities through periodic portfolio reviews
Embed TRAC values in daily interactions and decision‑making
Complete administrative tasks with urgency, including required Bank Compliance Training and responding to inquiries via email, phone, or messaging platforms
Demonstrate commitment to EEO policies and create an inclusive workplace
Adhere to all Bank policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, including AML/CFT responsibilities
Work in an office or home‑office environment, performing duties such as writing, typing, speaking, lifting moderate weights, and operating office equipment; reasonable accommodation is available for disabilities
Travel up to 75% including frequent trips to client locations, conferences, and training sessions; travel may include long‑distance flights, overnight stays, and local transportation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Business, Finance, or related); relevant field preferred
3–5 years of related experience in banking, merchant services sales, or a relevant industry
Demonstrated ability to cross‑sell and explain all products and services confidently
Knowledge of commercial banking products, services, and federal compliance regulations preferred
Strong initiative and influence with consensus building, negotiation, and conflict resolution
Experience with CRMs, payment gateways, Microsoft Office Suite, digital onboarding tools, or virtual sales platforms
Excellent communication skills; able to interpret documents, write reports, and speak clearly to customers, vendors, and employees
Strong organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail
Teamwork and relationship skills for collaborative efforts
Willingness to take on special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance if required for assigned duties
Salary $70,000 – $85,000
