Synergy, a leading Boston commercial real estate firm, is seeking multiple Roving HVAC Technicians, Electricians and Apprentices to perform maintenance and repairs throughout a portfolio of buildings. This individual will be a key member of our maintenance staff performing hands‑on work and maintenance duties for a portfolio of urban‑based office buildings and provide mechanical expertise to a wide staff of building personnel. This position will be provided with a vehicle to travel between sites and reports directly to the MEP Lead.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Travel throughout the portfolio of buildings to perform maintenance and service on building equipment.
Assist building engineers in troubleshooting and repairs of HVAC equipment, scheduling and performing preventive maintenance, and provide recommendations on building and equipment upgrades.
Perform critical service on HVAC and mechanical equipment.
Coordinate the overall quality of the work team and demonstrate an understanding of quality standards.
Foster a collaborative work environment by leading in problem‑solving within the team and across functional areas.
Develop weekly work schedules to ensure time is efficiently and accurately billed out.
Develop a full understanding of critical building systems and how to operate them.
Work with team to perform hands‑on upgrades to building equipment, equipment replacements, repairs, and emergency service.
Off‑hours work at times is required to avoid disruptions to day‑to‑day tenant operations.
Job Requirements
High‑school graduate or equivalent required; technical training or trade school preferred.
3+ years experience in Electrical, HVACR or related field.
Mass Refrigeration, Electrical or Plumbing License a plus but not required.
Self‑motivated, hardworking individuals not afraid of a challenge.
Ability to think beyond routine repairs, focusing on long‑term sustainable solutions.

Occasional sitting, squatting, crawling, kneeling.
Ability to operate assigned equipment and machinery; may be required to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
