Annual Bonus Direct message the job poster from Connect Search, LLC The Senior Investment Performance Accountant position sits within a single-family office, managing fund LP data across hedge, private equity, and real assets. The ideal candidate profile sits at the intersection of
fund accounting, investment performance reporting, and public audit within financial services . Investment Performance Analyst / Accountant Responsibilities
Review and input investment statements, generating accurate performance reports across all client portfolios. Leverage tools such as
Canoe ,
Backstop , and
Caissa
(or similar performance reporting systems) to efficiently process manager returns and balances. Collaborate with investment, operations, and external fund management teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting. Track and reconcile
unfunded commitments
related to private equity investments. Maintain the internal database to capture new investments and investor data in alignment with ongoing activity. Record and verify all redemptions to ensure correctness and completeness. Partner with the accounting team to support
quarterly reporting
and assist with recurring and ad hoc reporting requests. Calculate and reconcile
monthly cash balances
for all managed portfolios, ensuring discrepancies and timing differences are properly identified and resolved. Prepare and deliver performance reports for internal stakeholders and third-party entities, including materials used in
investment committee meetings . Demonstrate strong accuracy, timeliness, and initiative in resolving reporting variances. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required ; Accounting degree preferred. CPA
or progress toward CPA certification strongly preferred. 3–5 years of relevant accounting or investment performance experience, ideally with exposure to
fund or private market investments . Advanced proficiency in
Microsoft Office
(Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with performance reporting systems such as
Backstop ,
Caissa , or
Canoe
preferred. Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously in a
deadline-driven
environment. Highly
detail-oriented , proactive, and collaborative with strong analytical and communication skills. Seniority level
