Job Title Maintenance Mechanic (DOE -F)
Location & Schedule Washington, DC. Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11 pm. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Performs maintenance and repairs to all equipment under the direct supervision of the Lead Building Engineer.
Performs other duties as required or directed by the shift lead or manager on duty.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic
Must possess and maintain a CFC certification
Must be familiar with hand and power tools.
Candidate must be a team player and be willing to assist other crafts to accomplish service tickets and preventative maintenance.
Must be able and willing to work a schedule of Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11 pm.
Work Environment Work environment may be dirty and greasy and clean‑up of projects and mechanical spaces will be required on a routine basis. Works with systems and equipment in hard to reach places.
Physical Demands
Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, standing, stooping, and climbing in tight and uncomfortable positions.
Compensation Rate: $30.69 hr.
Benefits Health and Welfare Benefits consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
