Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm with locations across 15 countries, is seeking an
E-Billing Specialist
to join our Revenue Management Team.
The role is based in one of our U.S. offices and can be performed remotely. It reports directly to the Director of Revenue Management and requires flexibility for overtime when needed.
Position Summary The E-Billing Specialist is responsible for the submission and review of all firm‑wide e‑billing client invoices. They monitor submitted invoices to ensure that the client does not reject or reduce them on their end, and they verify billing documentation accuracy as required.
Key Responsibilities
Process client bills using Pre‑Bill Viewer and paper bills via Aderant software
Submit electronic invoices and accruals through various e‑billing websites
Research and answer accounting and billing questions
Review and edit pre‑bills in response to attorney and assistant requests
Execute and process a high volume of complex bills
Verify accuracy of billing documentation as needed
Assist with special projects, ad hoc reports, and additional duties as assigned
Qualifications Skills & Competencies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation
Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to a fast‑paced environment
Highly motivated, self‑starter capable of working with minimal supervision and being team‑oriented
High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and effective time management
Analytical with strong problem‑solving skills; takes initiative and uses good judgment
Proactive in identifying accounting issues and providing solutions
Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
Works independently with minimal supervision
Education & Prior Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in handling billing/e‑billing within a law firm
Understanding of standard accounts payable concepts, practices, and procedures
Exceptional computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
Technology
Proficiency with Windows‑based software and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
Experience with Aderant software, Concur, Pre‑Bill Viewer, and E‑Billing Hub preferred; collection experience a plus
