A Day in the Life of the Technical Project Manager As a Technical Project Manager, you'll take full ownership of planning and delivering complex software projects across web, mobile, and system integrations. You'll play a key role in coordinating stakeholders, managing risk, and driving results while ensuring alignment with compliance standards and business objectives.

Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale software initiatives with high quality and on-time execution

Collaborate with engineering, product, compliance, QA, and business teams to align goals and resources

Manage sprint ceremonies, maintain Jira boards, and ensure task completion

Write clear user stories and provide input into roadmap and sprint planning

Identify risks early and proactively manage or escalates as needed

Track KPIs such as schedule adherence, budget, and quality, and report to leadership

Lead retrospectives and seek continuous process improvement

Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, including external partners

Mentor junior project managers and facilitate cross-team collaboration

Requirements and Qualifications

5+ years of experience in project or delivery management for software development

Proven record managing large-scale, regulated projects (healthcare, government, etc.)

Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Scrumban practices and tools (Jira required)

Exceptional communicator with the ability to align technical and business teams

Skilled in risk management, budgeting, and resource planning

Experience working in a start-up work environment is preferred
