Technical Project Manager

A Day in the Life of the Technical Project Manager As the Technical Project Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind technology projects that power Spoonful of Comfort’s growth and efficiency. You’ll partner with developers, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams to turn business needs into scalable, reliable systems and processes. From sprint planning to stakeholder updates, you’ll keep projects moving, teams aligned, and communication flowing seamlessly.
Responsibilities
Plan and organize technical projects by gathering requirements and creating user stories for the development team
Develop and maintain project roadmaps, ensuring stakeholders stay informed on progress and priorities
Collaborate with other project managers and teams to ensure cross-functional projects stay on track
Manage development projects, sprints, and goals using Asana (or Jira)
Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, pointing, and retrospectives
Translate technical information into clear, actionable updates for non-technical stakeholders
Ensure best practices and security controls are followed across all initiatives
Track and report on metrics related to development progress, capacity, and efficiency
Continuously refine project management processes and explore new tools or methods to improve outcomes
Requirements and Qualifications
3+ years of experience in technical project management
PMP certification and/or Scrum Master certification (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Familiarity with development terminology and comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical teams
Proficiency with Asana or Jira
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
