Position Summary The Senior FP&A Analyst will collaborate with FP&A Managers to manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. The role requires a strong accounting background, advanced spreadsheet skills, automation capabilities, and AI‑assisted techniques to enhance financial reporting and provide strategic recommendations aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and improve financial reporting systems.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports with clear leadership summaries.
Conduct detailed variance analysis, identify trends, and propose profitability enhancements.
Support FP&A Managers in enhancing financial planning, reporting, and internal system improvements.
Utilize advanced spreadsheet tools and automation solutions to create effective dashboards and reports.
Incorporate AI tools to streamline reporting and analytical processes.
Monitor key financial metrics to assist in achieving organizational objectives.
Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and practical recommendations as needed.
Required Competencies
Proficient in preparing comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and month‑end closing procedures.
Expertise in Excel and Google Sheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and scripting.
Experience with automation tools such as Google Apps Scripts, Power Automate, and Zapier.
Comfortable using AI tools for accounting and analytical tasks.
High organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 1‑3 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
