Date Posted: 2025-09-24 Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Senior Manager, Service Operations for the Northeast Operating Area to provide direction, support, and leadership for Service field operations. Drive field efficiency and quality improvements to meet labor and material margin plans.
Meet goals for maintenance completion (MCP) and performance targets for the Northeast Service Operations; track callback and field-to-field rates, units with OMMS activity, and adherence to processes.
Ensure Otis ONE installation plans are met and manage unplugged units as needed.
Lead O hour initiatives for the territory.
Coordinate with the NAA Fleet Manager to ensure company vehicles comply with the vehicle matrix and transition vehicles to hybrid or electric to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Provide ongoing training, development, and leadership to the Maintenance operations team.
Provide technical direction to field operations staff and participate in large bids.
Be responsible for the quality of service in the designated territory.
Investigate and resolve critical customer issues using Otis and non-Otis products.
Report and present recommendations for product designs and performance requirements.
Monitor field tests as well as first inspections and data reports.
Consult with service supervisors, mechanics, and adjusters regarding problems with product performance.
Aid the region in addressing malfunctioning equipment proactively.
Assess patterns of complaints and determine solutions to ensure projects are completed to satisfaction and within reasonable timeframes.
Drive a safety culture throughout the territory through communication, discipline, recognition, and training.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
5+ years of elevator industry experience required.
Management experience required.
Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
Comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft-based software.
Strong leadership skills, goal orientation, and time management and organizational skills.
