The Air Vehicle Sustainment Center (AVSC) is seeking a highly experienced Program Management Leader to serve as the AVSC Deputy. This management position requires a proven track record in program management, contract administration, and large‑scale acquisition oversight. The incumbent will be responsible for safeguarding over $4 billion of contract value, ensuring disciplined execution, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence across the organization. The role is classified as L‑coded and will report directly to the AVSC Sr. Mgr.

Basic Qualifications

Experienced Program Manager or Business Manager with increasing responsibility

Earned Value Management Experience (EVMS)

Negotiations experience

Desired Skills

Prior position with P&L responsibility

F‑35 experience

Sustainment experience

Finance experience

MBA

Prior L‑coded position

Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level:

Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part‑time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40‑hour over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed.

Schedule for this Position:

4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
