We have partnered with a leading Building Services company in the DC area, who are looking for an experienced
Technical Operations Manager
to join their team. You will lead a team responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, and operational support across equipment and systems. Key Responsibilities
Liaise with technical business leaders, facilities managers, and clients to forecast workload and deliverables. Plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the team’s daily activities to ensure effective service delivery. Resolve conflicting priorities and ensure smooth operations. Develop and implement improved methods to achieve departmental objectives. Coach team members and foster technical expertise across disciplines. Influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. Contribute to operational standards, processes, and plans to support functional goals. Requirements
First-Class Stationary Engineer license (DC 1st) required. High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5–8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Supervisory experience preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and innovative mindset. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent organizational, communication, and mathematical skills. Seniority Level
