Job Description The Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance) is responsible for the profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales, understanding customer needs, and building rapport and trust.

Generate new customers and cross‑sell existing customers for Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance.

Sell to walk‑in customers and market products outside the office via calls and in‑person visits, creating community relationships to promote continued growth.

Build and retain a book of business within the market/retail location.

Maintain active community presence and develop sales pipeline.

Minimum Qualifications

0–2 years of experience.

Preferred: P&C licensing; must obtain required license within 90 days of joining.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

Successfully close insurance sales and ancillary products.

Meet and exceed sales goals through new product sales and cross‑sell/retention.

Leverage community contacts and maintain an active physical presence to build sales pipeline.

Initiate outbound calls to established target customer base.

Monitor local market competitors and suggest initiatives to improve company position.

Collaborate with Direct Sales Leadership to plan and manage marketing and sales processes.

Deliver optimal results in customer satisfaction and financial performance, complying with all rules.

Understand and promote underwriting guidelines.

Process customer payments, issue receipts, and verify cash drawer receipts.

Compensation Unlicensed Candidates:

Base compensation: $17.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Licensed Candidates (Auto or P&C):

Base compensation: $20.00 per hour, based on active license and minimum 6 months P&C sales experience.

Total Compensation:

in addition to base hourly rate, role may include incentive pay such as commissions and bonuses based on individual and team performance.
