What you’ll be doing
Approach customers outside the mobile area to share Verizon’s latest promotions
Generate retail sales by leveraging deep product knowledge and excellent customer service
Discover customer needs through thoughtful questioning and build a complete sales solution
Present product insights and solution recommendations to meet customer objectives
Close sales with clear, intuitive communication that drives satisfaction
Continuously improve through ongoing training in merchandising and inventory operations
Collaborate with internal and external partners across multiple functional areas
Build a customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to existing Verizon customers interested in our products
Compensation & Benefits Base pay $15–$20 per hour plus up to $16,000 annually in individual commissions. Top performers can earn $59,000–$67,000+ annually. Equity, 401(k) match up to 6 %, tuition assistance, health benefits, paid time off (5 weeks), 8‑week paid parental leave, discounts up to 50 % on Verizon products, and additional corporate discounts.
Sign‑on Bonus *External candidates may be eligible for a $2,500 sign‑on bonus, paid 50 % after 1 month and 50 % after 9 months, subject to the bonus agreement.
What we’re looking for
High school diploma or GED
1+ year of relevant experience (work or military)
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with 4‑week schedule notice
Willingness to take additional hours during peak periods (summer, November‑December)
Experience in a commission‑based environment (preferred)
Strong customer communication and solution‑selling skills (preferred)
Customer service experience (preferred)
Where you’ll be working Onsite at a defined location; 40 hours per week.
