Title Director of Nursing

Job Duties The Director of Nursing directs and coordinates all aspects of nursing, including, but not limited to, infection control, pharmacy, laboratory, quality assurance, medical records, and staff education. The Director of Nursing ensures compliance with established policies and procedures of the overall program and timely completion of respective reporting requirements. The Director of Nursing is also responsible for the maintenance of quality improvement activities in compliance with current licensing and accrediting policies and regulations. In addition, the Director of Nursing supports all disciplines in the development of a marketing strategy and efforts to network with existing and potential referral sources.

Qualifications

Current licensure in the State of California as a registered nurse.

CPR and first aid certified.

DNS will meet all applicable regulatory standards.

Desire to work with residents with cognitive and behavioral challenges.

About the Campus The 40-bed Selma MHRC’s innovative programs are based on Crestwood’s commitment to providing mental health clients with a continuum of care that puts them on the road to recovery. The mission of the Healing Center is to provide an alternative to traditional psychiatric care through collaboration, empowerment, a healing environment, peer providers, family partners, and a recovery‑oriented milieu. The Healing Center provides the structure and support to promote stabilization and foster recovery. Our goal is to restore a sense of hope, self‑empowerment, and realized recovery potential in each of our clients.

Salary Pay Range: $110,000 - $130,000 USD
