Responsibilities
Design and implement hardware for embedded electronic systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
Develop, test, and debug hardware components.
Integrate and validate new product designs.
Develop and perform Design Verification Tests (DVT).
Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic components.
Provide post-production support when necessary.
Collaborate with other engineers and developers to design and develop hardware and software interfaces.
Document hardware design specifications.
Monitor, test, and troubleshoot electronic systems.
Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and changes in the world of electronics engineering and incorporate these changes into future projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Ideally 3+ years of experience in electronics hardware development and Design Verification testing.
Knowledge in designing and developing PCBs using ECAD.
Knowledge in developing and implementing embedded firmware for microcontrollers (MCU) using C/C++.
Knowledge of communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, CAN, or wireless technologies.
Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Familiarity with software tools like repository management (Git/Subversion), Jira, and static analysis tools.
Experience working with a team of engineers using Agile methodologies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a demanding, highly dynamic environment.
