Responsibilities
- Design and implement hardware for embedded electronic systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
- Develop, test, and debug hardware components.
- Integrate and validate new product designs.
- Develop and perform Design Verification Tests (DVT).
- Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic components.
- Provide post-production support when necessary.
- Collaborate with other engineers and developers to design and develop hardware and software interfaces.
- Document hardware design specifications.
- Monitor, test, and troubleshoot electronic systems.
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and changes in the world of electronics engineering and incorporate these changes into future projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Ideally 3+ years of experience in electronics hardware development and Design Verification testing.
- Knowledge in designing and developing PCBs using ECAD.
- Knowledge in developing and implementing embedded firmware for microcontrollers (MCU) using C/C++.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, CAN, or wireless technologies.
- Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Familiarity with software tools like repository management (Git/Subversion), Jira, and static analysis tools.
- Experience working with a team of engineers using Agile methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a demanding, highly dynamic environment.
