Branch Regional Operations Manager Florida Tile, Inc. is seeking a Branch Regional Operations Manager (BROM) to lead operational functions and sales support across multiple branches in Erlanger, KY; Cincinnati, OH; Dayton, OH; and Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

Ensure operating units, customer care, inventory, and accounts receivable are managed according to company policies.

Implement consistent standard operating procedures that align with the sales strategy in the region.

Utilize effective interpersonal communication and leadership skills in employee selection, discipline, and performance management.

Hire and train high‑performing customer care and operations teams.

Conduct periodic training as needed.

Maintain expenses within budget, analyze monthly statements/reports, and develop processes to keep costs under control.

Oversee branch equipment and facilities, including capital requests and vendor quoting.

Develop sales support functions: grow walk‑in customer relationships, upsell and cross‑sell techniques, and post‑sales follow‑up activities.

Oversee inventory management: cycle counts, inventory accuracy, full physical inventories, returns to vendor, sample policy enforcement, write‑offs, and discontinued inventory process.

Review and recover freight spend in the region.

Ensure proper warehouse safety procedures and OSHA file maintenance.

Manage purchasing functions: receiving from NDC and non‑FTI vendors, minimizing inventory valuation, branch transfers, and backorder review.

Oversee credit functions and create action plans with BOM.

Conduct human‑resource functions: maintain a positive work environment, hire & interview, manage overtime and budget.

Encourage and help create strategic customer/vendor events with the BRSM.

Support sales teams, including selective travel to events and regional sales programs.

Perform warehouse and showroom duties such as forklift and SAP training.

Collaborate with BRSM to review opportunities for financial and operational improvement.

Maintain full knowledge of Florida Tile catalog and ancillary products for selling and training.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of operations management experience.

Direct report management experience.

Proactive, driven leader with proven results through action.

Experience developing and managing yearly budgets.

Collaborative leader with excellent communication skills.

High level of attention to detail.

Ability to connect with customers at all levels and adapt quickly based on their needs.

Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.

SAP experience a plus.

Full knowledge of all Florida Tile products.

Ability to perform all warehouse functions, including forklift operation, pallet jack, and lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.

Ability to meet deadlines and schedules with little supervision.

Ability to travel regionally and attend events/tradeshows (≈25‑30%) as needed.

Flooring or tile industry experience a plus.

Sales experience a plus.
