Role:
Project Manager- Line Responsibilities: Provide overall administrative and direction for large construction and installation projects. Provide technical and engineering support as required by the projects. Maintain overall bottom-line responsibility for profit and loss with appropriate authority. Oversee total construction and design effort (if applicable) to ensure projects are in accordance with design, National Electric Code, budget, and schedule. Coordinate with AHJ representatives, permitting processes, and ensure compliance with current codes for each project. Act as liaison to coordinate communication among internal and external project members (General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, General Foremen, union officials). Authorize and/or approve project staff selections and staffing decisions, and provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions. Participate in estimating projects and writing bid proposals; review and approve purchase requisitions, payments, invoices, and change orders. Assist in safety program implementation/interpretation and ensure OSHA requirements are met. Maintain strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (NFPA, NEC, Building Codes) and ensure adherence to client and project policies and standards. Maintain official project documentation and logs; maintain understanding of labor agreements and project-specific standards. Minimum Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or IBEW Apprentice Training Certificate or equivalent experience. Superior written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. Knowledge of National Electrical Code/IBC and NFPA-72. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality throughout the project lifecycle. Experience with Accubid is a plus. Experience with Bluebeam Revu is a plus. Benefits
