The Position ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER. This is a position based in Fenton, MO. The Associate Project Manager provides assistance to the Project Manager in the overall administrative and technical direction for a project. Project Managers have bottom-line responsibility for profit and loss and carry the authority appropriately. Associate Project Managers provide technical and engineering support as required by the projects. Travel to project site is required. This role is on our National Technologies Installation team.
Responsibilities
Oversee total construction and design effort (if applicable) to ensure project is constructed in accordance with project scope, budget and timeline.
Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between internal and external project members, including Clients, General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, General Foremen, and union officials.
Authorize and/or approve all project staff transactions including selection of superintendent, general foremen, foremen, staff volume and wages.
Provide direction to planning, scheduling and any applicable engineering functions.
Participate in estimating projects and writing bid proposals.
Review and approve purchase requisitions and payment approvals; send invoices and change order requests.
Assist in the implementation/interpretation of corporate safety programs and ensure OSHA guidelines are followed.
Ensure that all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to and interpreted.
Maintain all official project documentation and logs.
Maintain a thorough understanding of labor agreements and standards specific to projects.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering or equivalent in job experience or technologies field experience.
Experience installing Building Management Systems is a plus.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
Strong attention to detail and ensures maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Comfortable managing multiple projects at one time.
Knowledge of general construction standard practices.
Experience with Estimating Software a plus.
Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus.
Salary
$65,000 - $83,600 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
