Our client, an American multinational retailer of footwear and sportswear, is seeking a Sr. Global Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join their team!
Location: NYC or St. Petersburg - 3 days a week onsite Hours: 40 hours a week Contract Duration: 6 months with high potential to convert/extend Pay Rate: $30-37/hr
About this role: Assess business needs to recommend sourcing approach and plan Develop and execute procurement sourcing initiatives (e.g., RFPs, auctions) Manage sourcing activities from requirements to contracting Assist in negotiating contract terms and pricing with potential suppliers Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, ethical standards, and supplier diversity requirements Drive adoption and continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems, including SAP Ariba
Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field 3-5 years of experience in procurement Retail or CPG experience is nice to have Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects and delivering meaningful savings for the business Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Experience operating with SAP Ariba, or a comparable sourcing platform
