Director of Quality Reports to:

Global Vice President of Engineering and Quality Responsible for overseeing ATC Quality Management System designed to monitor and measure effectiveness of business and production processes to meet internal/external customer requirements. Provides leadership and support to ATC in-plant Quality Teams (Quality Managers, Supervisors, Engineers, and Technicians) to implement standardized systems across multiple plants to monitor/measure and communicate key performance metrics to meet business and program objectives. Position will also be a key stakeholder in representing ATC in customer relations related to quality performance. Oversees ATC’s adherence to the policies, procedures, and instructions of QMS Oversees ATC’s adherence to IATF-16949, ISO9001 Designs and implements integrated warranty analysis system that provides quick and efficient access to warranty data for all products from all plants. Ensures that quality teams are owning and disseminating warranty and first pass yield (FPY) data with analysis and breakdown of findings such that items can be actioned by responsible department(s). Ensure quality teams facilitate cross-functional corrective action reviews and track all open corrective actions. Ensures quality teams track implemented corrective actions and monitor for effectiveness. Provides the leadership for the warranty analysis team to achieve a high rate of root cause identification in customer returned products with focus to reduce warranty expense. Reviews root cause analysis results to ensure that the root cause ownership is appropriately determined. Mentor cross-functional teams for effective “root cause” analysis, corrective and preventative action. Assess capabilities of in-plant quality teams and provide recommendations for improvements Develops close working relationships with key customers and ensure prompt responsiveness to customer quality concerns. Resolving critical customer quality issues/situations ensuring that they are handled correctly and within current policy/procedure guidelines. Other duties and special projects as assigned. Education

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field Qualifications

5+ years in automotive manufacturing environment 5+ years in quality management Strong background in root cause analysis and corrective action and utilization of tools such as 8D/A3, 5Y, and PFMEA Proficient in data analysis using tools such as Minitab, Excel, SQL, etc. Experienced ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, MMOG Experienced in customer/supplier relationships Business acumen to achieve Annual Operating Plan Six Sigma certification preferred or demonstrated background in continuous improvement Seniority level
