We are seeking a highly experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to act as the technical lead for our mobile automation platform. This is a hands‑on role where you will design, engineer, and maintain the entire test automation ecosystem, ensuring our mobile product release cycles are fast, stable, and highly visible.

Core Responsibilities & Technical Ownership
Design and build the next generation of our test automation framework using expert‑level Python and Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) practices (Behave/Gherkin).
Serve as the authority for our GitLab CI/CD system, optimizing pipeline performance, managing physical runners, and configuring complex YAML workflows.
Implement containerization (Podman/Docker) strategies to create isolated, reproducible test environments directly within the pipeline.
Develop robust, real‑time reporting dashboards for test execution results and system health metrics.
Troubleshoot failures by interpreting the underlying application source code (Kotlin/Java).
Manage test data across SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB) systems and use Pandas/Jupyter Notebooks for complex data analysis and exploratory testing.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands‑on experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks in an enterprise environment.
5+ years of professional experience developing high‑quality software using Python.
Proven expertise in managing and optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Strong background in data management (SQL, MongoDB) and API testing.
Familiarity with telecommunications standards (5G, CBRS, LTE) is highly beneficial.
