Overview
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of project managers, assistant project managers, and superintendents to deliver exceptional results for our clients. The role is executive level and involves identifying, proposing, closing, and managing construction projects.
Location & Travel Travel across the US is required – up to 100% of the time. Projects are located in NC, VA, GA, TX, FL, IA, and WY. On average 6‑8 months are spent per project. Eligible candidates receive a designated daily per diem, vehicle allowance, and travel home rotation of one weekend per month.

Responsibilities
Develop solutions to prevent issues from becoming problems and study bid specs for potential risks.
Create proactive contingency plans and identify opportunities and risks with subcontractors.
Ensure every team member has a comprehensive business development plan.
Attend interviews, industry events, and non‑profit events to build relationships and identify new opportunities.
Initiate and develop new projects with architects, engineers, and owners; identify niche markets.
Build and sustain relationships with subcontractor community and recruit qualified subcontractors.
Lead a team of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to deliver exceptional results and maximize profit and client satisfaction.
Work with on‑site Superintendents to maintain quality and customer satisfaction.
Lead pre‑construction/RFP package effort with estimating department.
Ensure project quality control plans are in effect, follow punch list completion, submit change orders, and distribute meeting minutes within 24 hours.
Prepare, complete, and submit O&M manuals to clients within 30 days of substantial completion; maintain WIP reports.
Ensure all job processes follow company policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience (or equivalent).
Minimum 15 years of experience working in the field on construction projects.
Minimum 5 years of experience on pre‑engineered metal buildings (PEMB).
Minimum 2 years of experience on data center or mission‑critical construction.
Skills & Abilities
Familiarity with local specifications, reading blueprints.
Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and production using P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
Strong organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
High professionalism, strong work ethic, and ability to multi‑task.
Excellent knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $150 k–$185 k per year, commensurate with experience.
