Overview Waters Corporation is currently searching for an HRIS Principal Analyst to join our organization. In this role, the individual will be responsible for maintaining and improving HR systems and business processes with a focus on data quality. The role provides global systems administration support and HR process improvements to various HR systems including SAP HCM, SuccessFactors HXM and other Human Resources technologies.

This position will act as an internal consultant and a department liaison between stakeholders, providing best‑practice solutions that are tailored to HR processes and business needs.

This is a hybrid role with three days a week onsite required.

Responsibilities

Lead the end‑to‑end administration, configuration, and optimization of SAP SuccessFactors HCM modules and other Human Resources technologies

Partner with HR Business Owners, IT, and business leaders to provide system management support, including ongoing and annual programs (Compensation, PM/GM, etc.)

Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects with other HR and enterprise platforms.

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to HR teams and employees.

Maintain extensive hands‑on experience with security, user access, role‑based permission roles, and groups.

Manage workflow, including notifications, and dynamic roles/groups.

Possess deep knowledge of import processes to support business processes of reorganization, mergers & acquisitions, and annual programs.

Utilize the ECSC ticketing system to manage and resolve support tickets, serving as contact for escalated HRIS issues from stakeholders, troubleshooting system issues, and researching solutions to improve system efficiencies.

Maintain HR business systems to ensure continued operation through testing, quarterly updates, and enhancements to resolve problems.

Assess and improve overall HR workflow through system and procedural changes and user training, implementing changes from start to finish while acting as a consultant to and advocate for HR.

Manage implementation lifecycle of new HR business modules or systems, participating in implementation teams as needed.

Create or update documentation of systems requirements, business processes, configurations, test plans, and end‑user documentation to ensure shared understanding and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. degree

Eight years of industry experience in HRIS and/or enterprise software project management

Proven knowledge of SuccessFactors modules and SAP HCM

Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and develop and implement new or streamlined workflows

Knowledge of MS‑Excel, MS‑Word, database and programming concepts

Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and data analysis skills

Aptitude to learn new software solutions

Ability to use sound judgment in making decisions with minimal supervision

Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
