Job Summary : This role is responsible for performing day‑to‑day accounting tasks in accordance with department procedures, internal controls, and US GAAP, Caesars’ policies and applicable regulations. The candidate will assist department leadership in presenting activity explanations to business partners and senior management.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with professional and non‑professional accounting staff
Perform timely research and resolution of reconciling items; report exceptions to management
Understand and apply US GAAP requirements
Conduct analytical analysis with guidance of supervisor
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting processes to accurately record transactions
Execute monthly account reconciliations
Prepare monthly deliverables, including roll‑forward schedules, financial reporting support schedules, and legal/regulatory reporting
Apply critical thinking to provide solutions to problems
Identify process improvement areas and recommend solutions
Provide proactive feedback to leadership on people, process, technology, and compliance
Perform other job‑related duties as requested
Maintain detail orientation, time management, multitasking, and workload prioritization
Requirements
0-1 year accounting related experience
BA/BS degree in accounting
Prior experience with Oracle or similar ERP system
Gaming industry experience preferred
Organized, analytical, and detail‑oriented
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
Adaptability to new circumstances and support management with communication
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with team members and leaders
Critical problem‑solving skills and assistance in solution development
Team player in a professional environment
Understanding of Internal Control over Financial Report (ICFR) and SOX requirements
Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office
