Position Overview Invictus Strategy & Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations, payroll administration, and employee benefits management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across multiple HR functions, including recruiting, compliance, and policy support. This position plays an integral role in maintaining HR systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering a positive employee experience.
This is a hands-on position ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working across all aspects of human resources, from processing payroll to leading recruiting initiatives, while helping to build efficient and compliant HR processes.
Key Responsibilities Payroll Administration
Process and manage semi-monthly payroll through ADP Workforce Now with accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain comprehensive payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Research and resolve employee payroll and deduction inquiries.
Lead full-cycle recruitment for U.S.-based roles: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and managing offers.
Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs and enhance the candidate experience.
Maintain applicant tracking data and report on recruiting metrics to drive process improvements.
Benefits Administration
Administer health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement benefit programs.
Serve as the point of contact for employee benefit questions and coordinate resolutions with vendors.
Manage employee leaves of absence (FMLA, disability, etc.) and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Coordinate open enrollment and process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations.
General HR Operations
Maintain accurate and confidential employee data within HRIS systems.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive employee experience.
Assist with HR audits, compliance reporting, and policy documentation.
Contribute to initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and organizational culture.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of hands‑on HR experience with exposure to multiple functional areas.
2+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience; familiarity with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
2–3 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience.
Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance (FMLA, ADA, COBRA, unemployment, workers’ compensation).
Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Professional certification (PHR or SHRM‑CP) preferred.
Annual Bonus:
