What You Will Be Doing:
We’re seeking an HR Manager who thrives on driving innovation, solving challenges, and leading with a people-first mindset. The ideal candidate is resourceful, service-minded, and confident in making thoughtful, decisive calls. This role reports to the Director of Administration and is responsible for leading a small but high-impact team focused on improving processes, supporting others, and shaping a strong organizational culture. This is a hybrid role, with in office days on Tuesday and Wednesday of each week.
What You Will Be Doing:
Lead the HR team, overseeing comprehensive operations across a
multi-state organization, including employee relations, compliance,
benefits, and policy development
Manage full employee lifecycle from onboarding, performance
management, and offboarding with a focus on creating positive
employee experiences
Drive organizational effectiveness by setting HR team KPIs, leading
cross-functional process improvements, and implementing forward-
thinking HR initiatives
Act as a trusted HR advisor, providing responsive and compassionate
support to employees across all levels, addressing a wide range of HR-related inquiries, concerns, and challenges with empathy and
expertise
Oversee benefits programs including open enrollment, claims, 401(k),
and leave management such as FMLA, ensuring smooth
administration and clear employee communication
Manage employee work authorization processes, including H1B, E3,
and TN visa petitions, extensions, and green card applications with
the support of a legal team
Champion a values-driven culture by fostering engagement, ensuring
regulatory compliance, and promoting open, proactive communication
Conduct regular HR compliance audits to identify risks, improve
internal practices, and ensure alignment with federal and state
regulations
Handle sensitive employee relations, addressing disciplinary actions,
conflict resolution, and compensation inquiries with discretion and
professionalism
Manage HRIS systems and reporting, leveraging data to support
strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency
Maintain accurate and legally compliant employee handbooks and
policies that reflect current best practices and company values
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Human Resources,
Business Administration, or Organizational Development
5+ years of progressive HR experience with a solid understanding of
core HR functions including employee relations, compliance and
benefits
Growth-minded and adaptable, with a genuine interest in learning,
improving processes, and embracing technology like AI to work
smarter
Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple priorities
while maintaining accuracy and follow-through
Strong proficiency in HR technologies
Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills & Experience:
Experience leading or mentoring a team, providing clear direction and
fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment
Experience with immigration and visa processing, including
supporting work authorization and documentation
Public Notary certification, or willingness to obtain, to support
company documentation needs
HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR)
Experience with multi-state HR operations
Expertise in technology or staffing industry
