Overview: We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Full Charged Bookkeeper to lead all day-to-day financial operations for the company. This position will be responsible for maintaining all company A/P and A/R activity, handling inventory budget and reconciliations, and providing ad hoc financial reporting to the CEO. This is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and takes pride in delivering clean, reconciled financials, and is eager to join a rapidly growing organization with exciting growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all day-to-day accounting activities in QuickBooks Online, including entering vendor invoices, applying operational expenses, and reconciling accounts to ensure accurate financial data.
Maintain the chart of accounts following guidance from external accounting consultants and ensuring full accuracy and GAAP compliance.
Oversee full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, verifying vendor pricing and maintaining up-to-date records of bills, credits and payments.
Review bi-weekly payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring compliance with internal policies and payroll tax requirements.
Reconcile inventory values in QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate cost accounting.
Prepare and deliver ad hoc financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and other management reporting to support business decision-making.
Organize and categorize transactions involving multiple business entities and LLCs.
Ensure all documentation is audit-ready and organized for internal and external reporting.
Provide ongoing weekly reporting and status updates.
Maintain complete discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
Requirements:
6+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a startup environment
Fundamental understanding of inventory-related accounting concepts, including cost of goods, chargebacks and other associated reconciliations
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and comfort with complex tech stack integrations
Ability to execute independently with a strong attention to detail
Pay range for this position: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year - a final offer will be based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria
