We are seeking a

Diet Technician

(Full-Time) to join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in Chillicothe, OH! This position will assist the Registered Dietitians with patient nutrition assessments, diet education, and assist with patient meal service operations. The Diet Technician may complete tray audits, test trays and trayline operations. Key Responsibilities

Assists the Dietitian with patient data collection, nutrition screening, and modified menu planning Assists patients in completing menu selections Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs Qualifications

Credentialed as a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), required or eligible for exam. Bachelor\'s degree in Nutrition or related Science, required One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming Benefits for our team members
