Job Summary The Station Trainer – Fueling will be responsible for delivering classroom and on-the-job training (OJT), airline‑specific training, sign-offs and evaluating performance of employees at the station within their designated area of expertise. The role will ensure company and customer‑service standards and policies are met, maintain high proficiency and certification levels, provide airline practical and instructor‑led training, monitor classroom & OJT/Coaching activities, and serve as interim supervisor for new hires.

Expected pay rate is $27‑32/hr. Full‑time employees receive health and wellness benefits, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, sick time and company holidays.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver detailed training in instructor and virtual instructor‑led training, e‑learning, self‑directed training, and on‑the‑job training.

Deliver and oversee practical Fueling Classroom & OJT including final assessment and sign‑off.

Follow Swissport Corporate and NOAM Training Policy and Procedures and operate equipment following Swissport Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) or SOP.

Actively monitor and promote best practices across the station.

Implement internal quality assurance activities, including operational audits.

Continuously assess training to ensure staff competence and confidence.

Maintain compliance levels across the station.

Maintain effective communication and relationships with SMEs to ensure training relevance.

Act as a role model and display best‑practice behavior and procedures.

Provide objective feedback and coaching to improve performance and behavior.

Report all training activity through recognized methods to ensure accurate tracking.

Support nearby stations as needed.

Forecast & plan new‑hire and recurrent training needs, coordinating with Regional Training Managers, local HR and Operations teams.

Administer required examinations and reports for training programs to maintain compliance.

Assist with new‑hire tracking and on‑the‑job coaching program for the designated area.

Maintain currency in the operation.

Your Profile

Minimum 1 year of industry experience in airline Fueling operations.

Extensive fueling experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent, plus experience resolving complex problems and building positive stakeholder relationships.

Ability to travel up to 10 % and throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Pass security clearance and possess a valid driver’s license.

Strong communications skills and ability to influence without authority.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Customer‑service oriented.

Flexibility to work various shifts to accommodate training demands during off‑peak hours.

Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning processes, instructional design techniques, and evaluation methodologies.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, challenging and changing environment.

Ability to create and deliver dynamic presentations, slide decks and training materials.
