Anthem Structural Engineers is seeking a talented and detail-driven
Structural Engineer
with
5–8 years of experience
to join their Golden or Boulder office . This position is ideal for someone who thrives in the high-end residential market—designing one-of-a-kind homes with leading architects and builders across Colorado, the Mountain West, and Beyond. This is an
in-person position
based in either their Golden or Boulder office. The ideal candidate has a passion for fine architecture and complex residential structures, enjoys hands‑on collaboration with architects and builders, and takes pride in crafting elegant, constructible engineering solutions. You’ll be surrounded by a team that values design excellence, technical rigor, and long‑term relationships. What You’ll Do
Design and detail structural systems for high‑end custom homes—wood, steel, concrete, and specialty framing systems Collaborate directly with architects, contractors, and owners to bring creative architectural visions to life Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and calculations to the highest standard of accuracy and clarity Perform construction observations, field coordination, and on‑site evaluations Contribute to concept design sessions and help guide projects from schematic design through construction Mentor younger staff, share technical insights, and grow into a leadership role within Anthem’s high‑end residential practice What We’re Looking For
5–8 years
of experience in structural design (custom residential experience preferred) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
in Civil or Structural Engineering Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license
preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months Proficiency in structural analysis and design software ( RISA, RAM, Revit Structure, Bluebeam ) Excellent communication and coordination skills with architects, contractors, and clients Strong sense of design and attention to architectural detail Experience with hillside sites, complex framing, or mountain environments a plus What Sets You Apart

Competitive Salary:
$90,000 – $102,000, depending on experience and licensure Profit‑sharing opportunities
