Structural Engineer – Luxury Home Specialist. In-person, based in Golden or Boulder, Colorado. Employment Type: Full-time. The role focuses on high-end residential design, collaborating with top architects and builders across Colorado and beyond. The team emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and delivering design-forward, constructible engineering solutions. What You’ll Do
Design and detail structural systems for high-end custom homes—wood, steel, concrete, and specialty framing systems Collaborate directly with architects, contractors, and owners to bring creative architectural visions to life Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and calculations to a high standard of accuracy and clarity Perform construction observations, field coordination, and on-site evaluations Contribute to concept design sessions and guide projects from schematic design through construction Mentor junior staff and contribute to leadership within Anthem’s high-end residential practice What We’re Looking For
5–8 years of experience in structural design (custom residential experience preferred) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (RISA, RAM, Revit Structure, Bluebeam) Excellent communication and coordination skills with architects, contractors, and clients Strong sense of design and attention to architectural detail Experience with hillside sites, complex framing, or mountain environments a plus What Sets You Apart
