In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end lending process within the US Commercial Bank for your designated portfolios and relationships. Your extensive knowledge in asset-based lending, particularly in commercial and cross-border lending, will be key as you focus on underwriting, portfolio administration, and risk management. As a Credit Officer, you'll be a vital partner in our client delivery model, collaborating closely with Relationship Managers and Independent Risk to achieve both the firm's and client's objectives. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting credit underwriting and due diligence Structuring and documenting loan agreements Monitoring and managing the portfolio Applying credit policies consistently to ensure proper risk rating We're looking for an individual with a minimum of 10 years of experience in credit underwriting, portfolio, or risk management within a large multinational financial services or asset-based lending organization. Strong communication, organizational, and credit analysis skills are essential for success in this position. You will also have opportunities to mentor junior team members, recommend process improvements, and engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, and having advanced degrees or certifications will be considered a plus.
