Financial Analyst - Commercial Real Estate Colliers is looking for a Financial Analyst to support transaction management and brokerage services for companies of all sizes. This full‑time, onsite role is based in our Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA office.

About the role The Financial Analyst will perform financial analysis to support commercial real‑estate transactions, underwriting of property cash flows, development of financial models, and management of client relationships.

Responsibilities

Work independently to analyze, underwrite and forecast property cash flows and valuations using Excel and Argus modeling.

Prepare market‑analysis reports for senior leadership, including vacancy, absorption, comparable rents and sales.

Present data analysis, derive objective conclusions and make recommendations to leadership.

Conduct office space acquisition, negotiate vendor contracts and manage relevant vendor relationships.

Participate in annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes.

Manage internal and contract account managers and accountants to support financial management and analysis.

Develop complex cash‑flow models and support transaction management on a project‑by‑project basis.

Support office leasing and industrial brokerage teams with analytical tools, due diligence and lease/purchase scenario analysis.

Provide customized analysis to optimize clients’ real‑estate strategy.

Assist with RFP responses, new business pitches and client presentations.

Maintain current available office‑space supply information and lease data (rates, occupancy, term, build‑outs).

Collaborate with research to track lease/sale comparables and update building stacking plans.

Help manage the accounting database and review lease documents for critical dates.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related field.

1–3 years’ experience in commercial real estate, capital markets or corporate finance.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Experience developing cash‑flow models and conducting in‑depth financial analysis.

Strong ability to orchestrate multiple activities and deliver results under time constraints.

Salary Range Approximate salary range for this role: $68,640 – $70,000 USD. The displayed range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by location and factors such as experience and education.
