The Events Coordinator performs a variety of duties to ensure quality delivery of services and a successful event outcome. This position is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and executing events associated with all special initiatives of Undergraduate Admissions, UC Riverside, and UCOP.
Under the supervision of the Associate Director, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating all necessary aspects of assigned events, including budgeting, logistical planning, publication management, and other duties as assigned. The role ensures adherence to policies and procedures, gathers and compiles documentation such as entertainment requests, event agenda, staffing assignments, and executive debriefs, and maintains departmental publication inventory.
The Events Coordinator models excellent customer service skills and creates a welcoming environment for UCR administrators, faculty, staff, students, and guests, while working with minimal supervision and prioritizing a heavy and diverse workload to meet stringent deadlines. The position also involves community outreach and maintaining relationships with internal and external campus partners related to event management.
The salary range for this position is $56,000.00 to $96,400.00, with a current pay scale of $56,000.00 to $61,000.00. Applicants must have current work authorization. UC Riverside does not sponsor visa employment.
