Why This Assignment?
Mids : 3p–3a (36 or 48 hours/week available)
Diverse Experience
– float to other units/hospitals as needed
Advanced Facility
– 54-bed ED | Level III Trauma Center | Level II Stroke Center
Patient Ratios
– 1:1 for trauma/critical, 1:3–4 for all other patients
Holidays required, every other weekend
Requirements
Education
Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
Licenses
Active Alabama RN license or Compact license (no temp licenses)
Must be active in Nursys
Certifications
AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS (Red Cross accepted)
NIHSS
TNCC (required, secured onsite if needed)
Experience
2 years ED RN experience (will consider 18 months if working at highest license level, with 1 year in specialty)
