Role and objectives

Diamond Infrastructure Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Midstream Portfolio and Commercial Development Director in Houston or Lake Jackson, TX. The role provides a focal point for interaction between Diamond’s Business Development group, the functional Tech Centers, and the related operational and commercial leaders at Diamond’s sites. The role will influence Diamond’s Midstream business by supporting existing Customer contracts, leading the development of new Customer opportunities, and participating in defining the strategy for Diamond’s midstream services and assets. Diamond Infrastructure Solutions has a multi-regional pipeline system with more than 3,000 miles of active pipe and twenty-three storage caverns with rights-of-way across the network. Job responsibilities

Utilize financial acumen to develop and update pricing formulas, using historical accounting and operational information, considering the next best alternative and balancing service pricing with overall project value/impact. Retrieve, organize, and consolidate historical service delivery costs applicable for pricing; validate and adjust costs for non-routine variances; determine Next Best Alternative or market-based pricing. Develop the contractual requirements for services provided to or received from potential customers. Manage current contracts while identifying opportunities to enhance operating models. Lead the commercial relationship for Midstream activities with Dow, establishing best practices for communication and collaboration on asset contracts and supporting contract negotiations. Work with functions and site operations to validate data used in establishing service quantity commitments in customer agreements. Monitor service financial performance to ensure revenue and margins meet expectations; investigate and resolve inadequate margin performance. Support issue resolution during monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Support budgeting and forecasting for customer and fence-line partner service consumption. Establish and maintain best practices for portfolio management, including implementation, contract language, and pricing strategies. Collaborate with Business Development to lead technical feasibility, scoping and development of Midstream growth projects and expanded service offerings; lead or support negotiations of new customer agreements. Incorporate market best practices and build Midstream commercial acumen within Diamond. Analyze asset utilization metrics with Contract Management to uncover trends and opportunities for optimizing services and expanding with new customers. Collaborate with Operations and the Tech Center on asset strategies considering industry trends, new technologies, service needs, and unmet customer needs. Negotiate agreements for right-of-way acquisition, leases, extensions, and related landowner and customer damages; coordinate with commercial groups on pipeline leases, divestments, and other transactions involving Midstream assets. Required Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at an E5 rank/Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher. 10+ years of industry experience in Midstream, Right-of-Way, Oil & Gas, Pipeline or Real Estate related fields. Familiarity with contract structure, language, and administration. Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available for this position. Preferred Qualifications

Master of Business Administration (MBA). Strong financial acumen with understanding of historical costs and activity-based pricing. 12+ years of industry experience in Midstream, Right-of-Way, Oil & Gas, Pipeline or Real Estate related fields. 120 hours of International Right of Way Association (IRWA) courses. Real estate background with understanding of ownership and easement rights and related legal descriptions (Texas and Louisiana). Your Skills

Financial acumen, including revenue, margin, costs, depreciation, and activity-based cost recovery. Proficiency with SAP and DSR; strong data manipulation and analysis in Excel. Independent thinking with the ability to manage a high and diverse workload and adapt to changing schedules. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to form professional relationships across functions and geographies. Ability to navigate complex commercial structures and negotiate agreements with new Midstream customers. Negotiation: ability to engage in constructive dialogue to reach beneficial outcomes. Contract interpretation: understanding contract language and applying it in context. Additional notes
