Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic (A&P Certificated) This position reports directly to the Lead Mechanic and is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and repairs as assigned.

Overview Position Summary:

This position reports directly to the Lead Mechanic and is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and repairs as assigned.

Responsibilities

Must have an A&P Certificate

Strong attention to detail

Reports to assigned Lead Mechanic

Performs maintenance and repairs in accordance with prescribed practices and procedures

Completes paperwork as directed

Keeps the shop work area clean and organized as directed.

Fleet includes: 8 x Cessna 172's, 2 x Piper Singles (Warrior & Arrow), 2 x Piper Twins (Aztec & Apache), 1 x Cessna 421, 2 x Robinson Helicopters (R-22 & R-66)

Contributes to a safe work environment by reporting workplace hazards

Ensures compliance with all 14 CFR part 91/141 regulations

Experience requirements

Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English

Previous Robinson Helicopter maintenance experience (R-66 preferred)

Must have knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations

Ability to work in confined spaces

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraft

Must be able to pass a company background and drug test

Work Environment

Flight line and hangar at times in inclement weather

Work around chemicals, solvents, and paints
