You will provide supervision, support and education to unqualified staff and students.

You will show courage by embracing new ways of working and speaking up when you have concerns.

Pre-Operative Assessment:

As above and including:

You will ensure the provision of accurate Pre-operative patient information and documentation via My Pre Op Plus.

Conducting holistic clinical assessments of patients awaiting surgery, making appropriate onward referrals.

You will educate patients and their carers as required, including health promotion.

Ensuring that all necessary follow up and discharge preparations are in place prior to admission.

Liaising with Consultants/their teams in the event of surgical cancellations.

You will rotate through Pre-op Assessment Countywide which includes KTC, WRH and the Alex.
