Our team of bakers and pastry professionals take pride in hand crafted quality, from slow fermented breads to delicate tarts and refined desserts. The Copain SouthPark location is home to our bakery production and retail space, where dedication to craft, teamwork, and hospitality come together every day. We are looking for an experienced Bread & Pastry Cook to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the breads and pastries teamsteam to finish and package pastries with care and consistency. You will support the transition between morning and evening teams, ensuring the pastry kitchen remains organized, efficient, and that all finished products meet Copain’s standards before being sent out. What You’ll Do
Bake and finish daily pastries such as croissants, doughnuts, muffins, almond croissants, quiches, cinnamon rolls, etc. Package, label, and sort finished products for retail and wholesale locations, maintaining organization and accuracy. Assist both the pastry and bread teams to meet daily production quotas and maintain smooth transitions between shifts. Update the production board throughout the shift and communicate with chefs regarding quality concerns, timing, or equipment issues. Keep the bakery organized and clean by maintaining racks, storage areas, and workstations to Copain standards.
What You’ll Bring
Experience working in a professional bread, pastry and dessert production environment required. Strong attention to detail and pride in producing visually consistent, high quality desserts. Skilled in finishing techniques such as glazing, garnishing, and decorating. Ability to manage time and multitask while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork to support a smooth daily flow between shifts.
