Job Description: Summary:
Provide 2nd level technical expertise in PLC controls-based troubleshooting and continuous improvement in support of new production line installation. Follow direction from a Sr Controls Engineer. Enhance manufacturing capabilities through the implementation of new ideas and methods. Independently execute project objectives to fulfil overall project goals and milestones.
Requirements:
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and safety systems and structured programming Knowledge of controls systems design, programming, and systems integration Experience working in a manufacturing environment Strong written & oral communications skills Actively participate in all phases of projects including design, fabrication, off-line integration and testing, installation, production start-up support, training of plant personnel and technology transfer. Individual must be capable of executing project assignments, in a team-based environment, with minimal supervision
Education:
Desired AAS or Higher. 3 additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of formal education (for a total of 10).
Experience:
7+ Years working with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and safety systems and structured programming, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
