Job Summary:
The Senior HR Data Analyst will analyze and present employee data to drive workforce insights that enhance business performance and growth. This role involves collaborating with HR and business stakeholders to design, execute, and deliver data-driven strategies across the entire talent lifecycle—including workforce planning, recruiting, diversity, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in data analytics and visualization with strong communication skills to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and M&A teams to identify business needs and translate them into HR analytics projects. Develop custom reports in Workday to support analytics and stakeholder reporting. Design and maintain Power BI dashboards using data visualization best practices. Ensure data quality and integrity across multiple HR data sources. Maintain and enhance recurring analytic deliverables such as staffing models and business review materials. Prepare and transform data for analysis (wrangling, cleaning, merging, modeling). Analyze workforce metrics to identify trends, correlations, and predictive insights. Use predictive and prescriptive analytics to identify workforce challenges and opportunities. Translate data into compelling visual stories and deliver presentations to senior leaders. Stay current with HR analytics trends, tools, and techniques to advance analytical capabilities. Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in data and analytics. Experience developing custom Workday reports. Strong Power BI and DAX expertise. Excellent storytelling and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (PivotTables, VLOOKUP). Ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize effectively. Strong commitment to data privacy and confidentiality. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred Skills:
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker Studio, Qlik, Tableau). Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R. Experience with Google Big Query and Google Cloud Platform (preferred). Workday Analytics experience (Dashboards, Discovery Boards, Prism, Benchmarking). Background in data modeling, pipeline optimization, and warehouse management.
Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
