Role Summary
We are seeking an energetic and adaptable Technology Operations Specialist to support the on-site execution of a cutting-edge robotics program at LaGuardia Airport. This role serves as the primary operator and ambassador for the initiative, ensuring robotic systems are deployed effectively, maintained properly, and integrated seamlessly into airport operations.
You'll manage daily operations of robotic equipment, coordinate with airport and vendor teams, and represent the program with professionalism and enthusiasm to staff, clients, and the traveling public. This is a high-visibility role for someone who enjoys working with emerging technologies and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Program Execution & Operations
Serve as the on-site operator and point of contact for the robotics program at LGA Manage deployment, charging, monitoring, and maintenance of robotic equipment Learn and master robotic system functions to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate as needed Stakeholder & Public Engagement
Represent the robotics program professionally to airport staff, clients, and the public Provide friendly, informative interactions with passengers and partners Collaborate with airport operations, facilities, and vendor teams for smooth coordination Data & Reporting
Capture operational data and performance insights for internal reporting Document lessons learned, feedback, and improvement ideas from the field Safety & Compliance
Ensure all activities comply with airport and TSA safety standards Maintain awareness of operational zones and public interaction guidelines Key Requirements 2-4 years of experience in technology operations, facilities management, or a related field Strong interest in robotics, automation, or emerging technologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for public and stakeholder engagement High energy, professional demeanor, and customer-service mindset Proven ability to troubleshoot, adapt, and stay organized in fast-paced environments Comfortable using tablets, dashboards, or connected technology platforms Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings Must be eligible to work on-site at LaGuardia Airport (security clearance required) Why This Role Matters
