About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Finance to join their executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be a key player in providing strategic financial guidance and ensuring that fiscal responsibility aligns with business growth. This role demands a professional with a proven track record in financial planning, reporting, compliance, and analysis, particularly within a private equity environment. The VP of Finance will be responsible for leading the finance and accounting teams, managing the payroll process, generating consolidated financial statements, and overseeing various financial operations to maintain the company's financial health.
Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics, with a minimum of 7 years' financial leadership experience in a private equity setting. The role requires advanced Microsoft Excel skills, a strong knowledge of financial reporting, revenue recognition, and treasury, and experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite is preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be adept at managing relationships with auditors, banks, and financial institutions. Responsibilities include analyzing financial performance trends, managing risk, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements in compliance with GAAP. The VP of Finance will also be involved in evaluating and optimizing financial systems, policies, and procedures for efficiency and scalability, and will work closely with department leaders on budgeting and performance monitoring.
