About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fund Accounting and Regulatory Reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of various SEC filings, ensuring compliance with all disclosure requirements, and maintaining the integrity of financial results in the fund's financial statements. This role also involves managing communication with both internal and external auditors, overseeing SOX controls and documentation, and assisting in the preparation of audit committee materials. The VP will be the key person for all required fund regulatory reporting and will also be involved in ad hoc analyses and projects.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA certification, and a minimum of 10-15 years' experience in public or private accounting. SEC reporting experience is essential, and a background in open-ended funds or the private equity industry is preferred. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial regulations and a proven track record in fund accounting and regulatory compliance. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, large-scale operations environment and to partner with both institutional and private investors is also a key requirement.
