Job description
The Safety Manager will be an integral part of a team that oversees the construction of ground up Heavy Civil (bridges, ports etc) projects valued at $10M-$60M+. The Safety Superintendent will be responsible for project quality control, subcontractor coordination, daily logs/project documentation, safety, and inspections.
Select Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee daily subcontractor project assignments Ensure a safe workplace that meets company standards and OSHA requirements Schedule and monitor material deliveries Perform daily quality control walks Create punch lists for trades on each phase of construction Organize city inspections Maintain job site paperwork: daily reports, material order and delivery, employee safety certifications Effectively collaborate with clients and other team members, engineers, architects, inspectors, and city officials Attend project status meetings and assist in problem solving efforts
Bachelors Degree in a construction-related field and/or applicable work experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
