Job Title: ServiceNow Technical Architect
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Location: 100% Remote (US/Canada)
Travel Requirement: As needed
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly certified ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) to lead architecture, governance, and solution delivery for high-impact federal client engagements. This role requires a strategic technologist who can not only architect solutions but also articulate value, outcomes, and business alignment with compelling storytelling and executive-level communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical authority for ServiceNow architecture, governance, and implementation across enterprise programs. Lead solution design sessions, ensuring alignment with business outcomes, value realization, and platform best practices. Provide thought leadership around ServiceNow capabilities, product roadmap, and innovation adoption. Guide development teams on technical standards, coding practices, and platform optimization. Collaborate with client stakeholders, including technical and business leaders, to define use cases, develop value propositions, and deliver outcome-based solutions. Oversee platform integrations, data architecture, and instance strategy. Support pre-sales activities and contribute to solution proposals and technical presentations.
Required Certifications (Must Have): Candidates must be CTA-certified or eligible for the CTA program, which requires all of the below:
CSA (Certified System Administrator) CAD (Certified Application Developer) Two CIS Certifications, including at least one in SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management)
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions. Strong background in architecture, governance, and platform strategy. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts through storytelling-clearly articulating use cases, value drivers, and strategic outcomes. Experience working on government or large enterprise engagements Expertise in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, SPM, CSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc. Ability to lead and influence without direct authority in a client-facing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in federal consulting environments or regulated industries. Prior experience working with remote teams across the US and Canada.
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal communication and storytelling capabilities. Strong consultative mindset with executive presence. Ability to articulate value, ROI, and business outcomes-not just technical features.
