Summary
Parts Warehouse Specialist, under the general supervision of the Fleet Services Inventory Supervisor, is responsible for managing parts operations, including procurement, inventory, and distribution, to support operational needs and ensure organized, compliant processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Obtains necessary parts and supplies by communicating with technicians and vendors and provides service at the parts counter Utilizes parts manuals to identify and validate correct items for purchase and stocking Purchases and fulfills parts requests (electronic and work orders), including pickup and delivery Maintains an organized and clean parts warehouse, including receiving, organizing, and entering inventory receipts into software Addresses emergency response parts needs and adheres to purchasing guidelines Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Four (4) years of experience working with automotive, truck or equipment parts inventory Preferred Qualifications
ASE Certification in automotive parts Certificates and Licenses
Valid driver's license
